Snow day!

Sure we're used to snowy winters here in Vermont, but 28 inches of snow in 24 hours is a little bit much, even for us. (That's the National Weather Service's official snowfall tally map on the left. The deeper the red, the more snow. We're just to the right of Lake Champlain.)
This past Tuesday and Wednesday saw an unprecedented amount of March snow. In fact, only one storm in recorded history dumped more snow in Vermont-- the January 2-3 storm in 2010. (And we were open for business Wednesday morning at 8am!)
Not that we can't handle it, though. After all the shoveling and snowblowing is done, there's nothing like a nice peaceful walk through the woods to enjoy nature, so that's just what a couple members of our LORD Sensing-MicroStrain did today outside our offices.
The snow may be a little too deep for you to see the snowshoes strapped to their feet, but they're there, helping the team enjoy a nice trek through our Vermont wilderness.
Nice way to spend a lunch break!
